International horse transport is bound to certain rules and regulations, which can differ from country to country. At Horse Hotel Holland we have the knowledge and experience to provide the required health and quarantine services.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is an important hub in international horse transport. However, each country has its own requirements concerning the health and quarantine of horses before they are allowed on transport. At Horse Hotel Holland we have the knowledge and experience to offer the required health and quarantine services and permits, considering the different rules and regulations for different countries.

At Horse Hotel Holland we offer Pre Export Quarantine and Isolation (PEQ). During their isolation period, the horses are under veterinary supervision. There is no contact between horses with a different state of health. Horse Hotel Holland has a partnership with the NVWA, the authority performing the pre-export veterinary tests, and local vet J.W. de Gooijer from Team Amstelstreek. With our expertise and partnerships, we make sure the PEQ horses are in excellent shape when they are transported around the globe.

Our isolated areas are divided in separate compartments. This gives us the possibility to provide quarantine and isolation for several transports at once. Authorised personnel only are allowed in the isolated areas. The horses are given the excellent care and attention they need and deserve. The care is adjusted to the individual need of each horse. At Horse Hotel Holland the wellbeing of your horse is of utmost importance during the export procedure.

When you use Horse Hotel Holland for the quarantine of your horse(s), it is possible to stay in one of our accommodations. We have camera surveillance in the stables, so you can watch over your horses 24/7 from a display in the apartment.
